The Russian Railways JSC will discuss with Italian companies a possibility of their participation in the projects for development of railway infrastructure in the Russian Federation, including construction of Moscow-Kazan high-speed railway.
According to the first vice president of the Russian Railways, Alexander Misharin, a joint working group will be set up to ensure operational coordination and discussion of all issues regarding participation of Russian and Italian companies in implementation of Moscow-Kazan high-speed railway project, as well as in other infrastructure project in the field of railway transportation.
This statement Alexander Misharin made following a meeting with a vice president of Ferrovie dello Stato, operating Italian public railways, Giovanni Rocca.
As it was reported earlier, construction of Moscow-Kazan high-speed railway is estimated at 1 trillion rubles.
