As it became known to Life TV channel, operators of the European Union have already started the extension of gas pipelines for major Russian project Nord Stream 2.
It is noteworthy that the companies have embarked on the work before the European Commission officially gave a permission to Gazprom gas holding.
The main lobbyists for the cancellation of Nord Stream 2 are Poland and Ukraine. Now that the construction is launched, their strategy to oust Russian gas from the Eurozone can be considered a failure.
German companies of NEL Gastransport, Fluxys Deutschland and Gasunie Deutschland have begun the enlargement of the first of the announced pipelines linking Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to Germany and other European countries.
