Seven new plants to open this year in the territory of Dubna special economic zone, deputy chairman of the Moscow regional government, Denis Butsaev, announced.




“At present, there are 110 residents in Dubna special economic zone. This year, we launch construction of 16 new plant in the area and open seven new plants,” Mr. Butsaev said at a presentation of the Moscow region’s investment potential in Nurenberg.

He also reminded that currently there are 48 industrial parks in the Moscow region, in which over 400 investors with a total volume of investments amounting to 2 billion euro have been involved.

As a reference, the modern town of Dubna, located in the Moscow region, was developed in the middle of the last century and received a town status in 1956.
