Chery Automobiles Rus, a Russian distributor of Chinese brand Chery, is reviewing a dealer network and looking for partners in 50 Russian regions, the company’s representative told Rambler News on Monday.
In total, the company plans to expand the network up to 115 dealers.
“Since 2016, Chery has been reviewing contracts with the existing dealers over their termination or continuation of cooperation. The number of Russian dealers usually ranges about 100. At present, the number of dealers in Russia amounts to about 80, by the end of 2018, it is expected to increase up to 115. Now about 50 cities are under consideration for opening a dealership there,” he said.
Initial volume of investment in the opening of Chery’s dealership totals 11,825 million rubles, with a space area of 300 square meters.
