The Ministry of Far East Development of Russia offers to establish a joint company to attract investment and provide a support to investors from South Korea in the Russian Far East, RIA Novosti reports on Tuesday.
This initiative was unveiled at the XI session of the Russian-Korean Committee for the Far East and Siberia.
“I propose to create a joint venture to attract Korean investment and support Korean investors in the Far East of Russia. We are already creating these companies with our partners from China, Japan,” the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Far East Development of Russia, Alexander Krutikov, said.
On the part of South Korea, it is the Korean Agency of Assistance to Trade and Investments that is showing the greatest interest in the project.
