The Russian company Regiontransneft has acquired ownership of an airfield complex in the Iranian city of Qom for 2.8 billion euro, according to the Iranian newspaper Free Zones News.
“The Russian company Regiontransneft has embarked on the implementation of an integrated project for construction and launching of several real estate projects in the Islamic Republic of Iran on Kish island and the city of Qom (located 140 kilometers South of Tehran)”, the newspaper writes.
As it follows from a reference to the project, the Russian company has acquired a newly built aviation complex and has become the sole owner of the territory and objects. Construction of a runway and taxiways has begun in the territory of the airport.
