A peculiarity of the international project named Hexafly-Int is an unusual fuel for the airliner.
A model of high-speed civil aircraft developed by specialists of the Central Institute of Aerohydrodynamics within Hexafly-Int international project will offer visitors of the exhibition an idea about the promising development in the field of passenger aircraft of the future, the Institute’s press office said.
This will be a new generation of supersonic passenger airliners. Experts believe that this plane can perform transatlantic flights at a cruising speed of not less than 1900 km/h at distances up to 8600 miles, and its interior will be made convertible – from 80-seat to 20-seat VIP-class aircraft.
