A unit of the British holding company of Rolls-Royce, which manufactures engines for civil aviation, will take part in the selection of suppliers for Russian-Chinese wide-body long-range aircraft.
This is what the president of the United Aircraft Corporation, Yuri Slyusar, told Rambler News on Wednesday at the international air show in Le Bourget.
“Rolls-Roys, along with other leading international manufacturers of engines, is one of the candidates for participation in cooperation over the wide-body long-range aircraft. The company, like other potential suppliers of engines, has passed the stage of RFI. At present, the preparation for the phase of RFP – a request for proposals of suppliers of aircraft systems and equipment – is expected,” he said.
