The company IKEA MOS, which manages MEGA shopping centers in Russia, is going to finance the construction of a highway section in New Moscow, the press service of The Moscow Committee for Construction Investment Projects and Co-Funding Construction said following a meeting of the Moscow Urban Development Commission.
“The Commission has agreed with the signing of a contract for the donation to a road fund for the purpose of the reconstruction of a road network at the address: the Moscow Ring Road – Kommunarka village – airport Ostafyevo, upon which the company donates Moscow the funds in the amount of 1.25 billion rubles,” the Chairman of the Committee Konstantin Timofeev said.
Reportedly, the new road will connect the Moscow Ring Road and Kaluga highway, which will improve transport accessibility of MEGA Teply Stan shopping center located at the intersection of roads.
