Alexander Kolobov, the main owner of Shokoladnitsa that is one of the largest chains of coffee shops in Russia, and Panda Express, a US company that owns a fast food chain in the USA, will establish in Russia a new restaurant chain specializing in Chinese cuisine.
As reported by RBC agency, the project is planned to be launched in 2018. About seven restaurants of Chinese fast food will be opened in 2018 and approximately the same number is expected to be launched next year. Currently, an agreement on the lease of premises has already been signed.
The Chinese restaurants that will be established by Panda Express will become part of Shokoladnitsa that owns not only coffee shops but a chain of pizza restaurants as well. In addition, the group owns Arena Foods Catering that will arrange meals for fans at the upcoming 2018 World Cup.
American company Panda Express has been operating in the US market for a long time, with its first restaurant appeared in 1983 in California.
