In St. Petersburg, a hotel designed for 534 rooms is planned to be built near Kupchino metro station.




The project will be implemented by Russian subsidiary of the Finnish YIT Group specializing in the construction of residential buildings, and Novy Vek company that is part of Plaza Lotus Group, a Russian-American joint project.

The corresponding contract for the construction of the first phase of the hotel has already been concluded. The general contractor will launch construction activities in the second quarter of 2018. The facility is planned to be commissioned in 2020. The parties have not disclosed the transaction value, though.

The hotel will be located at the intersection of two avenues — Danube and Vitebsk, next to Kupchino metro station. It is designed as a variable-story building: from seven to twenty-one floors. the building will house an underground parking, bike parking, as well as parking for invalid cars.
