A cement plant worth almost 12 billion rubles ($194 million) will be built in the Russian Republic of Bashkiria, RBC news agency reported on Tuesday referring to a source in the regional government.
The design capacity of the enterprise, which will be located in the Salavat region, will be 5,000 tons of clinker per day. Prominvest, a company specializing in the production of cement, acts as an investor of the project, which has become one of the priority projects in the region.
Following the visit of the Bashkir delegation to China, an agreement was reached on the participation of the Chinese corporation Sinoma Group in the establishment of a new production. The Chinese partners will take part in the project, ensuring the supply of industrial equipment and the development of engineering solutions.
