A modern sports complex, which includes a fencing center and volleyball school, is to open soon in the Moscow region of Khimki, the press office of the regional Construction Ministry told Construction.RU on Friday.
The ministry has already issued the required permission for commissioning the facility. A new complex with a total area of about 4,000 square meters is located in the Novogorsk district in Khimki. The fencing center with an area of about 2,500 square meters consists of a main hall with 12 tracks, a gym, as well as coaching and support facilities. In addition, for the convenience of visitors, a spa area with a sauna and swimming pool will be located.
As noted in the message, this will be the first fencing center in the Moscow region, where both professionals and beginners will be able to train. The volleyball center, designed for 24 people, occupies a smaller area — about 1,500 square meters. The project was implemented by a private investor.
