The Directorate-General for State Environmental Review of the Russian Federation (Glavgosexpertiza) has studied the documentation for the construction of Nord Stream 2 pipeline, through which gas will be delivered from Russia to Germany, the agency told Construction.RU today.

The agency’s experts have came to the conclusion that the results of engineering surveys and design documentation meet all the necessary requirements. Also, experts have found that the project documentation is consistent with the results of engineering surveys.

We should remind you that a 1200-kilometer Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline will pass through the Baltic Sea. The purpose of the project is to ensure a stable supply of natural gas from Russia to the EU market.
