A sports museum will be established in the Luzhniki sports complex, but this will happen only after the 2018 World Cup hosted by Russia is over.
This statement was made by Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Marat Khusnullin, when he was talking to media representatives. As he explained, some of the exhibits for the museum have already been selected.
“It will be after the World Cup is over and the stadium starts its normal operation. We discussed this with the leadership of the Russian Football Union”, Khusnullin explained.
Marat Khusnullin noted that during the football championship, all construction activities on the territory of “Luzhniki” would be temporarily suspended.
