New tennis center with an area of about 20,000 sq.m will be constructed on the territory of Luzhniki sports complex, a Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Construction Policy, Marat Khusnullin, told reporters on Friday.
According to him, at present the urban planning documentation is being developed over the new object. The tennis center will be built on the place of the former courts.
Marat Khusnullin also added that now the local government is considering the option to attract foreign investors to the project.
He specified that the object’s construction must be completed in 2018, by the time when other reconstructed facilities located on the Luzhniki territory will be ready.
