Turkish company IC ICTAS Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. and the Italian Astaldi S.p.A., which participated in the construction of a toll highway “Western High-Speed Diameter” in St. Petersburg, are interested in taking part in one more project in Russia.
The matter concerns the construction of Krasnoye Selo — Sosnovaya Polyana tram line, the press office of St. Petersburg administration reports.
Within the framework of 2018 SPIEF, an agreement on cooperation between the city and two companies was signed. The document reinforces the intention of the parties to develop the transport, social and tourist infrastructure.
“The companies plan to participate in the construction of a tram line along the Krasnoye Selo — Sosnovaya Polyana route, which will be implemented on a public-private partnership basis by 2028,” the report said.
