Experts at Domofond.Ru real estate online platform have named the cities of Russia, which residents are most satisfied with the ratio of income and cost of living.
The rating was headed by the Moscow region of Krasnogorsk, the analysts claim. Respondents to the survey (60,000 people from different cities of Russia) were proposed to evaluate the statement: “My monthly income is enough for a comfortable living, I'm satisfied with the cost of goods in stores in the vicinity of the house, utility rates, and other expenses”, using a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 means “totally disagree”, and 10 means “totally agree”.
“The Moscow region of Krasnogorsk has secured the number one rating, with the residents assigning it the highest score in the country — 5.7 points out of the maximum 10”, the report reads.
The Moscow region of Shchelkov came in second place with 5.5 points. Abakan, located in the Republic of Khakassia, took the third place: the respondents estimated the ratio of incomes and cost of living at 5.5 points. In Gelendzhik, the average score was 5.2, which allowed the city to take the 6th place. The cities of Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg and the Moscow region’s town of Khimki are last on the Top 10 cities of the list, rating 5.1 points. Moscow took the fifth place with 5.4 points, the report says.
