A record number of apartments located in new buildings of the elite segment have been put up for sale in Moscow, according to materials presented by the consulting company Savills.
More than 2,700 elite apartments have been brought to the Moscow market, breaking a record for the last 25 years. Experts note that the reason for this was the forthcoming entry into force of new rules for developers. So, the companies are trying to sell as many completed projects as possible before the new rules become effective.
Since the beginning of the 2018 year, eleven new elite buildings have been brought to the Moscow market, with a total of 1,400 apartments. The number of deals concluded on these property items has grown, even despite the summer period and the 2018 World Cup. Thus, during the summer months, 193 deals were concluded in Moscow, which is 57% more than in the previous year.
