On April 15th, the Moscow Department of Construction organized the first excursion to the “Luzhniki” Grand Sports Arena, currently being reconstructed.
The Department press service told Construction.ru that those who wanted to take part had to send an electronic application to a specific e-mail. 15 lucky people were chosen with the help of a random data generator 5 days before the date of the excursion. The Head of the Construction Control Department, Murat Akhmadiev, took them to the center of the future sports field, showed them the model of the stadium being built and told them what will be present here by the time of the World Championship in 2018.
In the Moscow Championship of 2018, football matches will be held both in “Luzhniki” and “Otkritye” Arenas, the latter of which was constructed and opened last year.
