Head of the RF Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities met with young architects, urban specialists and designers at the All-Russia youth forum “Tavrida” in the Crimea.
As the Construction.ru learned from the industry press-service, more than 500 people from all regions of Russia took part in the meeting. Young specialists shared their ideas on the development of the city environment with the minister, presented their architecture and design projects and asked the minister some acute questions. Mikhail Menn reported to them that currently the ministry is working on the implementation of BIM-technologies in the sphere of industrial and civil construction.
22 pilot projects designed with the use of BIM-technologies have been selected. He also assured the participants of the meeting that standardized design will not result in architectural sameness in Russian regions. At the end of the meeting Menn invited young specialists to work in the ministry.
Participants of the forum taking place from 10th to 16th of July in the Republic of Crimea are students and graduates of construction universities, young tutors-post-graduates, heads and specialists of commercial enterprises and state structures dealing with architecture and design.
