Heavyweights producer KAMAZ, with GC “Rostech” and the Chinese Hawtai Motor Group Co, has agreed on the creation of a joint venture (JV) for the production and sale of Russian trucks in China and Hawtai cars in Russia.
As the press office of the KAMAZ consortium reports, the production of cars under the Hawtai brand will be organized in the Russian plants of the enterprise and a special plant will be built in Tianjin in China to produce KAMAZ trucks. Their production will be distributed via the partners’ trade centers.
