The German construction company West-Woods Bay Consulting Management and the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky authorities have signed an agreement at the Eastern Economic Forum for the construction of a sports and amusement complex.
As the regional press office has said, the work on the construction site and the equipping of the modern complex will cost 20bln rubles. In particular, the construction of hotels, sporting areas, a golf course, a cable car and ski trails is planned on Petrovskaya hill. The project fully corresponds with the regional authorities’ plans to increase the number of Russian tourists to Kamchatka by up to 100,000 people a year.
To interest foreign investors in cooperation, the government suggests including this sports and amusement complex in a priority development area.
