Moscow. Our special corr. Alexei Nevsky. On December 21st a meeting of the Council of the SRO of nuclear industry took place at the Kurchatov Institute national research center.
It started with the signing of an agreement on interaction and cooperation between the Kurchatov Institute’s NRC and the SRO of the nuclear industry. On the party of the Institute it was signed by Yaroclav Shtrombakh, on the part of self-regulating organizations by Victor Opekunov. Then the President of the SRO spoke on the results of the association’s work in 2015 and its prospects for 2016.
He remarked that the SRO of the nuclear industry currently consists of 503 organizations: 314 construction ones, 128 design ones and 61 research ones.
The condition of developers, designers and researchers is quite secure. Instead of the former SRO members who left for different reasons, new organizations, having greater opportunities, have arrived. This is the reason for the industrial potential of the developers of the SRO of the nuclear industry having risen to 381 bln rubles. In 2014 it was 370 bln rubles.
Then Victor Opekunov spoke in details on the implementation of the staff training program: there were both successes and drawbacks. In particular, additional training is needed in such specialities as concrete worker and welder. Next year much attention will be paid to it, he assured us.
At the end of his report he stressed that a compulsory component of the work of the SRO is testing its members, so more than 500 different checks are planned for 2016.
The participants of the meeting visited the Resource Center of Convergent Nano-, Bio-, Info-, Cognitive, and Socio-Humanistic Studies and Technologies of the Kurchatov Institute.
and also a specialized source of synchrotron emission.
Cand. Sc. Roman Senin showed the participants round.
A detailed interview with Victor Opekunov about the work of the SRO of the nuclear industry will be published soon on our website.
