The volume of commissioned housing in Russia will be reduced by 16.3%, to 15.6m m2 in the first quarter of 2016.
This data is contained in a report published on Tuesday by the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat). According to this information, the Moscow region is in the lead among other Russian regions in the first quarter of this year. It has ensured the commissioning of 1.262m m2 of housing.
Nevertheless, the amount of commissioned housing in the Moscow region has decreased by 14% in comparison with the same period last year.
The volume of commissioned housing in the Krasnodar region amounts to 1.136m m2, in Saint Petersburg about 898.000 m2 has been put into operation (i.e. – 11%), in the Leningrad region 862,000 m2 (– 13%) and in Moscow 786,000 m2 (– 9.5%) of housing has been commissioned.
