According to preliminary data, new builds delivered in Russia in 2015 reached 83.8m m2.
This is what the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Mikhail Menn, told the participants of a conference in Moscow titled, “Review of the Real Estate Market in 2015”.
As our special correspondent, Alexey Nevsky, reported from the event, the exact data, according to the Minister, would become known in March. Most probably, it will correspond with the data of 2014.
As for building permissions issued in Russia in 2015, there were 8% more than in 2014.
Altogether, building permissions were issued for 112m m2 of housing.
New economy class housing supply, in comparison with 2014, increased by 18%. Furthermore, the minister has stressed that every 3rd apartment on the primary market in Russia was acquired with the state support of a mortgage loan.
