A tender for $64-million construction at Kursk NPP II is announced

A contractor is needed to carry out construction and installation activities at Kursk NPP II, a nuclear power plant under construction in the Kursk region, Russia.




To this end, ASE engineering company announced a tender for these works to be carried out at the NPP’s first power unit. According to the terms of the tender, a contract worth 3 billion 647 million rubles (about $64 million) will be signed with a winner of the tender. Those willing to participate in the tender should submit their applications no later than April 20, 2018. The winner will be declared a month after the applications’ deadline — on May 18, 2018. The selected counterpart should construct buildings of the turbine, refrigerating machines, heating and block desalting units. All construction activities should be started on June 22, 2018, while the project completion is scheduled for December 25, 2021.
