The Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee has issued permission for the construction of a new hostel for the Moscow State Institute for International Relations at Vernadsky Avenue 76.




As Construction.ru was told by Oleg Antosenko, Chairman of the Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee, an 18-storey building for 1900 students will be constructed. They will live in apartments for two or for three people with a total area of 28-34 m2 and 31-40 m2 respectively. Postgraduate students will live in single rooms with an area of 25 – 30 m2
Housing for people of limited mobility, with an area of 44 m2, is to be found on the ground floor. The total area of the building will be 48,700 m2. There will be a hairdresser, a gym, computer labs, a self-service laundry, a medical study, and a dining room with 80 seats. The new building will be constructed at the expense of federal budget. The developer is MGIMO and the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All the work at the construction site is planned to be completed by the end of 2018.
