The ‘German initiative’ consortium has offered to provide financing for the construction of the Moscow-Kazan HSN to the tune of €2 bln.
The First Vice-president of RZhD, Alexander Misharin, has told journalists about this in Moscow. But, according to him, the memorandum has not yet been signed. Our party is still studying the conditions of the deal.
The construction of the HSN may be divided into sections and Chinese and German financing will then be used separately.
To remind you, Chinese authorities have already offered 400 bln rubles to finance the first HSN in Russia, which will be a two-line railway for trains with a speed of 200–400 km per hour, which will decrease the travel time along the 770-km-long railroad from 11.5 to 3.5 hours.
