The high-speed line “Moscow - Beijing” construction cost will be calculated before the end of 2016.
As RIA Novosti reports, the RF Minister of transportation Maxim Sokolov told the journalists in Moscow about it. According to him, the construction cost of the first high-speed line in Russia, “Moscow-Kazan,” is estimated in 1 trillion rubles. Its design will be carried out by a Russian-Chinese consortium. The project creation contract cost is a bit more than 20 billion rubles.
To remind you, in January the Chinese Government announced through the social network Weibo that China will build a high-speed railway line connecting Beijing with Moscow at the cost of 1.5 trillion yuan ($242 billion). The total length of the road through Kazakhstan will be 7,000 km.
