RF President Vladimir Putin has spoken in favor at the ARPF forum on the construction of a road through the republics of the North Caucasus to the Black Sea.
As the Kremlin press office reports, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the All-Russia social movement "Russian Congress of the Caucasian peoples", Sultan Togonidze, spoke about the project at the forum. The construction of the road is a part of the Elbrus development project. It is necessary to create logistical infrastructure between Kabardino-Balkaria, the Stavropol region, Karachaevo-Cherkessia and Abkhazia. Aside from the road, an airport is to be built. Chinese investors will take part in the project’s implementation.
President Putin expressed his support to the constructors.
