Russian President Vladimir Putin will inspect the process of the bridge construction over the Kerch Strait. As “Izvestia” reported on the 16th of March, the Head of State has chosen the date of the second anniversary of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol entering the Russian Federation.
According to the schedule, Vladimir Putin will inspect Tuzla Island, where the temporary bridge will be extended from the coast of the Krasnodar region. This is needed in order to convey workers, freight and construction equipment to the site.
Moreover, having inspected the sites of the bridge’s construction, the President will hold a meeting on the development of the Crimean Federal District.
To remind you, the Kerch Bridge is scheduled to be put into operation as early as 2018. Vehicular and railway traffic will be able to use it.
