An intellectual hub with university, tech-parks, housing, offices and leisure areas will be built in New Moscow, the expanded area of the Russian capital. The project is worth 16 bln roubles.
The “Clever City” project is being presented within the framework of the International Industrial Exhibition, Gannover Messe-2016, TASS reported on Monday.
Investments in the project are estimated at 16 bln roubles. Aunique hub will connect several segments – education, investment, leisure and housing – with social infrastructure. It is also planned to construct schools, nursery schools, health centers and residential buildings.
The development area will cover a land plot between the Kievskoye and Kaluzhskoye Highways and will border the Solntsevo and Butovo districts, as well as the town of Vidnoye, located in the Moscow region.
Subsidiaries of the foreign tech-parks are planned to be located on the site. 35,000 new jobs in the field of biotechnology, IT and green energy are to be created there.
