On the 18th of May, the largest agricultural and industrial holding in Thailand, Charoen Pokphand Group, and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the authorities of the Ryazan region will sign an agreement on the construction of Russia’s largest dairy unit. The project is estimated at $1 bln.
The foundation stone laying ceremony will be held within the framework of the forum entitled, “Russian-Thai Business Dialogue”, which takes place in Saint Petersburg, RDIF press office told Construction.ru on Wednesday.
At present, the Prime Minister of Thailand, Prayut Chan-o-cha, has arrived in the Ryazan region.
The dairy unit will not just be the largest one in Russia, but also an innovative one. Thai technical specialists will ensure the time period from the raw milk’s supply to its further processing into the end product is reduced to 2 hours.
