In June, the construction of the first stage of a high-capacity greenhouse unit, producing vegetables, will start in the Andropov district of the Stavropol region, situated in the North Caucasian Federal District of Russia.
At the first stage, the greenhouse will be an industrial unit with a technical zone with a total area of 10.9 hectares, the press office of the Agriculture Ministry of the Stavropol region told Construction.ru.
However, as soon as autumn, the first crop will be planted. The greenhouse is designed for year-round vegetable production. Its capacity might be extended to 30 hectares.
At least 180 jobs are planned to be created at the enterprise.
