Hilton hotel operator plans to open this year one more hotel as a part of the Expoforum congress and exhibition center in Saint-Petersburg, said Francois Morvan, Cluster General Manager at Hilton St Petersburg ExpoForum and Hampton by Hilton St Petersburg ExpoForum.
The exact date when the facility is to be put into operation isn't known yet. Mr Morvan noted in an interview to Interfax agency that the first Hilton hotel within ExpoForum open on the 29th of April 2016 and from 23rd of June it will begin to provide accommodation for tourists.
Francois Morvan emphasized that Hampton is a new product on the Saint-Petersburg market. Over the first six months of the hotel operation, its expected occupancy amounts to 50%. According to him, Hampton has become the 19th company's hotel in Russia.
“We hope that Hilton (the second one) will be the 20th”, - added Mr Morvan.
