British Castle Lodge in Ludlow, where once lived Catherine of Aragon, Henry's first Queen of England, is put up for sale, announced Balfours real estate company.
The historic building of the 13th century, which has been repeatedly reconstructed, is located in Shropshire and is a listed building.
Its cost hasn’t been disclosed yet, however, five years ago the Castle was estimated at almost 1 m pound sterling, BBC reports.
Balfours has described Castle Lodge as “one of Ludlow's finest buildings”.
Catherine, a daughter of Spanish king Ferdinand of Aragon, moved into the Castle following her marriage with Prince of Wales, Arthur, the heir to the throne of the Great Britain. When Arthur died one year on, Catherine left the Castle and got married with his brother, Henry.
