As a result of the incident in Saint Denis, France, five people died and nine, including three firemen, suffered burns of varying degrees, reported Life on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the residential building, located in the northern Paris suburbs of Saint-Denis. A partial building collapse is also reported. The cause of the fire hasn’t been established yet.
At present, a rescue service team is working on the scene, sifting through the rubble. Inhabitants of the burnt house have been temporarily resettled to the local hotel.
Saint-Denis is located 9.4 km from the centre of Paris. In the past, the commune used to be an industrial suburb.
