The Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) has appealed to the Moscow authorities with the request to permit the construction of a development project on a part of the territory of the Center n.a Khrunichev, which is incorporated in the organization, Vedomosti newspaper reports referring to the Moscow government’s official.
According to the newspaper, the projected area of the future residential compound amounts to approximately 1 m sq.m. The project concept has already been submitted to the Moscow City Architecture Committee, but it was sent for follow-up revision. The sticking point is that the commissioner wants to build too much of housing, whereas the city needs the construction of infrastructure and jobs creation as well.
