The Moscow authorities have approved a concept of architectural appearance of new metro stations in the capital city of Russia. This includes “Minskaya”, “Ramenki” and “Lomonosovsky Prospekt” of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line.
These metro stations will be decorated in a uniform style with the use of pictures with stereo effects on columns in the center of the halls, the Moscow government’s press office told Construction.RU on Wednesday.
Thus, technologically unusual images will create the single compositions, if a passenger looks at the column raw. The full tree-dimensional image will emerge from a number of separated parts of the picture. As a result, it will produce a stereo effect.
“Lomonosovsky Prospekt” metro station located near the Moscow State University will be designed in accordance with numeric theme.
