Hotel worth approximately 3,5 bln roubles might emerge in the area of the “Platov” airport under construction in the Rostov region.
The facility is expected to be built by World Cup 2018, a project manager of construction of the future airline hub’s investment part, Vladimir Tungusov, told RIA Novosti on Thursday.
Vladimir Tungusov noted that at present, the hotel building hasn’t been included in the project of the airport construction. Currently, negotiations with Russian and foreign investors are underway.
“We intend to build a hotel, which in the longer term will meet the needs of passengers”, - he added.
According to Mr Tungusov, no specific agreements with investors have been reached so far over the issue of the hotel construction. He said that the businessmen look with caution at such projects, since the hotels located close to airports don’t have a permanent load in Russia.
