Works on Turkish Stream gas pipeline installation will start in 2017, Russian Minister of Energy, Alexander Novak said following a session of Russian-Turkish intergovernmental commission.
“The intergovernmental agreement was signed on the 10th of October, the document stipulates terms of the project implementation by commercial entities. The time of work completion is scheduled for the end of 2019. At present, a major preliminary work is underway. At first, it will be survey work, techno-economic justification, design and estimate documentation, after that the gas pipeline installation will start. This work is to be launched in 2017,” said Alexander Novak.
All required permissions to start Turkish Stream construction work have already been received, Mr Novak noted.
