Russian authorities offered India to set up several joint enterprises producing and supplying the most advanced construction materials, the press office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation told Construction.RU on Thursday.
The Ministry’s representative indicated that over the course of the recent meeting of Industry and Trade Minister, Denis Manturov, and Chief Minister of Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the parties declared mutual interest in expanding cooperation in the field of production and supply of construction materials.
At the same meeting, a memorandum of intentions has been signed between the government of Andhra Pradesh state and TechnoNICOL and SAN Group companies over the project of building a plant producing polymer-modified bitumen construction materials in India. The total amount of investments will be $100 million.
