Japanese to take part in Cancer Center construction in Chechnya

Japanese technicians intend to visit the capital city of the Chechen Republic, Grozny, in order to discuss construction of a health center for treatment of critically ill oncologic patients.




This is what Prime Minister of Chechnya, Abubakar Edelgeriev, announced over the course of a meeting with the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov.

“Within the framework of a visit to Japan, an agreement on construction of a health center for treatment of patients with the third stage of cancer. While in Russia people ill with the third-stage cancer live no more than a year, in Japan doctors sustain life of such patients up to 80 years. This will be the first center in Russia of this kind,” said Edelgeriev.
