Russian President Vladimir Putin has no more doubt about the project for Nord Stream 2 pipeline construction, RIA Novosti reports on Tuesday.
“I have no more doubt that the project will be implemented”, Vladimir Putin said.
“Despite all these difficulties, Gazprom is making orders of products, commissioning pipelines, so I think that those interested in this project... will push the matter through”, - Putin said, talking with workers at Eterno plant, which releases components for pipelines.
We should remind you that Nord Stream 2 project involves the construction of two strings of pipelines with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The pipelines will run from Russia’s coast through the Baltic Sea to Germany.
