R-Pharm, a Russian manufacturer of medicines, and the Japanese company Fujifilm are likely to establish a joint manufacture of biologically active additives, the founder and Chairman of the R-Pharm’s Board, Alexey Repik, told Rambler News.
“In terms of dietary supplements we (Fujifilm and R-Pharm. — editor’s noted) will certainly do a joint business, when we achieve the sales volumes, which we will be feasible”, - he said.
Alexey Repik said that the agreement between R-Pharm and Fujifilm, signed in December 2016, included an integrated broad cooperation, including that in the field of production of diagnostic equipment and biological medicines.
“The plans envisage new enterprises, probably, in regard to diagnostic medical equipment... As for the drugs, we believe that, because the range of our biological products is quite complementary, we will transfer the production of some of their products here in Russia”, - Repik said.
R-Pharm and Fujifilm signed a cooperation agreement in December 2016 within the framework of a visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Japan.
