The management of Allianz Arena, a home stadium of Bayern football club is investing €10 million in the facility’s renovation for this summer, General Director of the stadium Jürgen Muth said in an interview to the club’s magazine, FC Bayern Magazin.
According to Jürgen Muth, new LED walls are planned to be installed in the stadium, while the lighting level will increase from 1400 to 2200 Lux. In addition, a new parking for 1275 cars will appear near the stadium.
Stadium Allianz arena opened in 2005, the cost of the facility’s construction amounted to €340 million. The sponsor of the stadium’s name is a German Allianz insurance company, which had acquired the rights for a period of 30 years.
