SpaceX, an American aerospace producer and space transport services company, is going to set an absolute record of speed of public transport movement.
If the record is set on an experimental branch of Hyperloop, its cabin will be able to cover the distance at one of the first branches from Los Angeles to San Francisco quicker than a plane – just in 30 minutes.
The test line in the Netherlands is being built by Hardt Global Mobility, a company that was awarded a general contract from SpaceX. The European company’s plans are no less ambitious than the idea of Elon Musk himself. Hardt Global Mobility intends to open Hyperloop tunnel in 2021.
