Slovenian Comita and Russian Gazprom to cooperate in energy saving

Gazprom, a Russian gas giant, and the Slovenian company Comita, are likely to start cooperation in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving, the press office of the Russian holding reports on Friday.




The corresponding agreement has been signed by Comita and Gazprom within the framework of 2017 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia.

“In accordance with the document, the parties will explore prospects of interaction in several areas: the development of modern practices of a control over technical conditions of gas and pipeline systems, energy efficiency and energy saving, ecology, as well as new areas of natural gas application,” the statement reads.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Chairman of the Gazprom’ Board, Alexey Miller, and Minister of Economic Development and Technologies of Slovenia, Zdravko Pocivalsek.
