Diamond Fortune Holdings Prim has started construction of a hotel and entertainment complex with a casino Selena in the gambling zone Primorye located in Russian Far East, according to the Primorsky region’s administration.
As the company’s CEO Yevgenia Varakina said, the resident had completed excavation activities on two plots in the gambling zone. “We have received the necessary permits and proceeded with the active phase. Today, retaining walls are under construction on the plot of land,” she noted.
Under the investment agreement, the deadline for the commissioning of the complex’s first phase is set for 2020, but the company will make efforts to open Selena in 2019. Commissioning of the second stage is planned for 2022. The first phase includes a hotel for 295 guest rooms, a casino with at least 100 gaming tables and 500 slot machines. The total construction area of Selena will amount to more than 174,000 square meters.
